durban, march 20

oh God, i'm exhausted, i was surfing, or more precisely learning to surf for 5 hours today at durban's north beach. beautiful place, the water is +25 celsius degrees, and the swell is good, has a lot of power. unfortunately my arms just don't have the power to catch them properly yet... met a few surfers, the south africans seem to be very kind and relaxed, nice place indeed. the other guys went for a safari 60 km out of durban, they saw some wild life like giraffes and stuff... the day has been a bit cloudy and there has been a hint of rain, but it doesn't bother us, as in scandinavia we are used to -10 to -5 degrees celsius these days. tomorrow morning we might have another go on the surf boards, or at least body boards before the concert at absa stadium. life's hard around here, can't complain though...
